Hello and Welcome to my Blogger Blog.
I have started this blog to help me play better golf by documenting what I have been doing. But I have then decided that I needed an independent blog for all the things I needed to say.
So, this blog is being used to direct people to my personal blog where you can get more info about improving your golf swing and your golf scores with my golf swing tips.
Just a little information, when you get to my home blog, you will see the latest blog has been posted. First thing you should do is to "BookMark" my blog so that you can come back to it easily and read my updated blog posts. Currently I have 41 posts and growing daily. You should also go back to the beginning and work your way forward to see what progress was made and how.
That blog has all of my information about my slide from being a great golfer to a hack. You probably have a similar story and thought you were the only one. But alas, no, there are many of us that are very bad golfers and a few that are trying to get better.
So that is my goal. To help you and me get better at posting good golf scores. I want to be the best golfer in my leagues which will be a difficult challenge but I think I am up for it are you?
Then you have three challenges; one is to follow my posts, sometimes times I wander and get off the path to helping us get better golf swing scores but I hope you will hang in there with me as I tell my story in my way, second I want you to try and use these golf swing tips for better golf when I find something that really works and finally it will require you to practice to get better and play more golf which will cost you more money.
I will be the experimenter and you will see the results. When we are satisfied that the results are good for me and you, then I will recommend that you try whatever it is that has helped me. In many instances it will take practice, maybe as much as two hours per day but most can be done at home and for free.
I would hope that you will work at them. I will recommend as many free things as I can but there may be instances when you will have to pay for them. In some of these instances, there may be an opportunity for me to make a few dollars from your purchase, so I hope you don't mind. But I will never recommend anything that will not help and only those that will benefit you more than me.
So please go to my home blog at http://bit.ly/dagd7V.
Thanks and here is good luck to us both.

The Perfect Golf Swing Tips
You are in Luck.
I am here to tell you all about my great golf scores.
For the past 12 years, I have been a mostly a non-golfer. Then last year I decided to play in a golf league as a sub. The guys were fun to play with but most only put up with my game as I had a high average and would help them win more point then they lost.
So as a result of my playing with these guys, I had fun but my golf scores sucked. So after the season ended, I put my golf stuff away for the winter.
Over the winter I decided I wanted to play more golf the next season and get a better golf swing. I bought a couple of "Get a Better Golf Swing" ebooks with videos.
I have a golf club that I purchased some years ago that is a cut down version of a club with a 30 degree kink and a weight to help practice the swing. The golf grip had a guide on how to grip the club and it seems to help.
But I was not interested in the golf swing as much as I was in trying to make money online. I have been doing stuff online but still needed help to get traffic and get a good niche to make money.
I looked up one day and saw that the snow had disappeared and I could hear birds chirping even through the windows. I said to myself, "self, you had better start going as the golf season is coming and you are not prepared!"
I began looking for another golf swing guide to help me. I found one I tried and it was OK but it still was not all inclusive. So I said to my self, "Self, combine all of these and pick out the best stuff for you!"
You notice I talk to myself a lot! Well you have a tendency to do that when you are stuck in the house all day and your only activity is talking to people on the Internet and watching the snow accumulate and melt.
Well, rather than bore you with more stuff, why not go to my blog and read my posts about what happened that cause my swing to deteriorate and what I have been doing to fix it.
It is a sliding slope as I try to do things and if they work I keep them and if they don't I drop them.
My scores are getting better but if you want to read about my progress then go to my blog and bookmark the page so you can read all of it. I have over 20 posts and it is growing more each day.
Again, I am by myself so I have a lot to say. Hopefully you will want to read it. If not it is YOUR loss. By the way, winter is approaching fast but the weather is holding up and we continue to play golf long after the league season ended. I am practicing with each round to see if there is something I can try to get better.
Although I must say that one guy in our group just got his first 79 ever and I have posted a 39 on the front nine the other day. So we are getting better with our golf swings as a group with all of the extra play we are doing.
But this info will be on the blog with more detail.
So, I hope I see you at my blog at http://bit.ly/dagd7V. Thanks,
Lou M.

Golf Swing Tips for the average golfer.
How to get golf swing tips for the average golfer.
That's you, you shoot in the high 40's for nine holes and sometimes into the 50's. When you play eighteen holes you are high 90's or low 100's. It is hard to tell what you will shoot because your scores are very inconsistent.
That's what you dislike most about your game is that you cannot predict your golf score. But that is also what you love about the game is that you cannot predict the outcome of your golf score.
Some days you go out there and everything seems to be just horrible and you will shoot a 51. Then the next time you go out to play, you will shoot a 42 and you have no idea what you did that made you shoot so low.
Over the past year I have been trying to get my game back to better than average scores. I play in two leagues right now after work and we play nine holes. The average golfer shoots about 46 with some of the guys hacking their way to as much as 57 for nine holes.
There are two golfers that shoot about 42 +/- 2 strokes and one who's average is 38. Now I left off last season with a 48 average and this year after the first 5 rounds I average 52. I suck big time!! Well, I made up my mind I was going to get better and hopefully get down to an average of about 42. Right now it appears that is not a realistic goal.
My average may get to 46 or 45 and I may shoot in the low 40's for the last few rounds but I will not average that low. The following is what I am doing to improve.
First off I am trying to play more often. With practice makes perfect. But even though I am playing more often it is not nearly as often as guys I know that score low. They are playing almost twice as much as I am and I am playing twice as much as the average golfer.
I have an advantage. I used to play really well about 15 years ago so I had a grooved swing and have a short cut to getting better. The second thing I have done is to get one of those big head drivers to play longer than the average golfer. That has helped as I can swing slower and still get a good drive, about 240. I have hit drives in the 285 range lately, so I am pleased with this driver.
The third golf swing tip I have done is to slooooooow down my back swing. This gives me control and I can hit the ball better with more consistency. Then the fourth thing I have done is to simplify my golf swing and shorten up my back swing. By doing these last two things, I am more consistent. With being consistent, I can make adjustments. For an example, if I am not hitting the ball far enough then I will grab another club and use it.
Also with consistency, if I am hitting the ball more left or right instead of down the center then I will open pr close the club face to make a difference. Next I take time and line up my shot and see where it goes. If it does not go where I want it then I will make adjustments to my alignment.
Finally, I am concentrating on my short game. Chipping and putting is very important. If I can reduce my putts to 16 or 18 per nine holes, it is a major reduction in my golf score.
What all of this means is you cannot just go out and swing the clubs a few times before you start a round and then play with any chance you will score good. You have to have a plan and do the things necessary to improve. It takes time and money to get to be a better than average golfer.
If you want to see how I have progressed over the season, please go to my blog and you will get a day by day accounting of how I am improving my golf game to score better. You will also get more golf swing tips that will help you play better golf. Good luck and have fun!
